Count Financial CEO resigns

Financial planner Count Financial Ltd's chief executive Marianne Perkovic has resigned, effective Monday, after 11 years with the company.

Ms Perkovic, who had been an executive director since March 2004 and CEO since August 2006, had resigned to pursue a new career opportunity in the financial services industry, Sydney-based Count said in a statement on Monday.

Count's executive chairman, Barry Lambert, will act as CEO until a replacement is appointed next year.

Shares in Count were flat at $1.29 as of 1356 AEDT on Monday.
