Japan's Nikkei falls 0.2 pct ahead of Fed

TOKYO, Nov 4 (Reuters) - The Nikkei average fell 0.2 percent
on Wednesday, weighed down by exporters such as Tokyo Electron
<8035.T> after U.S. stocks ended mixed on caution before a
Federal Reserve statement on interest rates and the economy.
The benchmark Nikkei <.N225> shed 17.67 points to 9,785.28,
after sliding 2.3 percent on Monday to hit a three-week closing
low. Japanese markets were closed on Tuesday for a national
holiday.
The broader Topix <.TOPX> dipped 0.3 percent to 877.69.
